A Commitment to Canadian Values

Billy Morin is the Member of Parliament for Edmonton Northwest, proudly representing the people of northwest Edmonton in the House of Commons. Elected in 2025, Billy brings a proven record of leadership, public service, and a deep commitment to building strong, collaborative communities. Born and raised in Edmonton, he is a proud member of the Enoch Cree Nation and was raised by his parents with strong values of hard work, accountability, and service—principles that continue to shape his leadership today. Billy served as Chief of the Enoch Cree Nation from 2015 to 2022, becoming the youngest Chief in the Nation’s modern history at just 28 years old. Over three terms in office, he led a period of significant growth and transformation for the Nation. His leadership focused on strengthening economic self-sufficiency, modernizing governance, and creating long-term opportunities for community members.

During his time as Chief, Billy helped advance major economic development initiatives that attracted investment, created jobs, and diversified revenue streams for Enoch Cree Nation. He supported the expansion of business partnerships in sectors such as energy, hospitality, and infrastructure, helping position the Nation as a regional leader in Indigenous economic development. His work emphasized fiscal responsibility and transparency, ensuring that growth translated into real benefits for members through improved services, infrastructure, and community programming.

Billy also played an important role in strengthening relationships across all levels of government. He worked closely with municipal, provincial, and federal partners to advocate for Indigenous rights, advance reconciliation, and remove barriers to economic participation. His collaborative approach helped build trust and opened doors for new partnerships between Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities. In addition to his work in economic development, Billy prioritized community well-being. He supported initiatives focused on housing, education, youth engagement, and public safety—recognizing that strong communities are built not only through economic success, but through opportunity, stability, and support for families.

Now serving as a Member of Parliament, Billy continues to bring that same results-driven approach to Ottawa. He is focused on strengthening the local economy, supporting small businesses, improving access to services, and ensuring that the voices of northwest Edmonton are heard at the national level. He remains a strong advocate for practical solutions that unite communities, promote opportunity, and deliver meaningful results. Billy and his wife, Felicia, are proud parents of four children and remain deeply connected to their community and family roots in the Edmonton region.
